Site Supervisor Course - SSSTS
The 2 day CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme provides candidates the necessary legal, health, safety, welfare and environmental training for construction supervisors, foreman and engineers, as well as labour staff. The course is recognised by the UKCG (UK Contractors Group) as providing the necessary training for working on UK construction sites.

IPAF
IPAF stands for "International Powered Access Federation". It is the organisation that promotes the safe and effective use of powered access machines (MEWPs) worldwide, which includes all Cherry Pickers and Scissor Lifts.
To ensure the safe use of powered access equipment, all operators should be properly trained.Theory and practical based training teach operators and supervisors about their legal responsibilities and that of their employers, as well as how to safely operate a MEWP. Successful trainees receive a PAL Card (Powered Access Licence) which is accepted around the world as proof of safety and competency when operating the relevant powered access equipment.

NVQ Level 2
Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Construction and Civil Engineering Operations (Construction)
The qualification will develop knowledge and skills in areas such as general health, safety and welfare, conforming to productive working practices and moving, handling and storing resources.

NVQ Level 3
The aim of the Level 3 NVQ Diploma is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence of individuals who specialise in a trade based occupation in the construction industry.
Level 3 is for supervisors, alongside this qualification, you will need to also pass the test for CITB Health and Safety Supervisor Specialists Test in order to order your Gold Supervisor Card. For Level 3 NVQ, you will need to already hold a suitable position with the sector you are training for.
The Trades we provide for NVQ Level 3 are; Carpentry, Bricklayer, Formwork, Cladding, Steel Erecting and Occupational Work Supervision.

This course is an insight onto directing traffic and moving vehicles on site.A Banksman, also known as a Traffic Marshall, is usually a trained competent person who would position themselves so that they have an unrestricted view of the load and the vehicle operator, to give manoeuvring instructions to the appropriate vehicle driver.
